These images  are a series of recent  works titled, Altered Perceptions. Inspired by Rachel Carson's research in the 1970's, on the effects of pesticides upon bird populations. Each mixed media collage work, depicts the existence of a single bird or insect embedded into an abstracted space. I attempt to convey  the sense of alienation from what was, to what is now being realised...My work addresses current ecological issues  surrounding the impact of  human ​activity upon the planet and its species . The works on paper are framed and canvases are ready to hang. sizes ranging from 25x25cm  to 60x60cm.
