This work was inspired by the natural world around me.
The imagery focuses on the intricate detail of patterns and textures to be discovered when we walk through the woodlands and the sheer joy experienced when we capture a glimpse of its inhabitants hidden there...
I try to capture the characteristic, mischievous movements of a fox as he dips and weaves his slinky body through the undergrowth.
The work is mainly charcoal I also used ink to add an expressive textured effect to the shrubs ground and tree trunk.
The work is spray mounted onto paper.
